Women In Mining USA (WIM USA) is a nationwide organization committed to positioning mining as an equitable, sustainable and reputable industry.
Our members include people employed in, associated with, or interested in the mining industry. WIM USA has multiple professional and student chapters in the USA. Our role is to support our chapters in their objectives, foster collaboration among chapters, assist formation of new chapters, and enable organizational growth.

Our History
Formed in 1972, the Women In Mining National (now USA) Organization was created to enhance communication among chapters, assist formation of new chapters and support chapter educational programs.
Education Foundation
The Education Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to educating the public about the importance of mining in their lives and in society overall.
Annual Conference
Each spring, we host a national conference, where people can network, collaborate, learn new skills, and share experiences.
